A better design

I never been crazy about the use of permanent magnets in most surface grinder designs. They are hard to clean and can be difficult to use. Using separate on/off magnet are an improvement, but still have some issues. I thought if I could find the right size magnetic chuck, it would be a better solution. I couldn’t find one, but did find a factory that would make some for testing. They are 75mm x 450mm, roughly 3” x 16”. I believe I have a simple way to set the angle for tapering tangs without having to do any calculations. MORE TO COME!
